Liverpool fans will be heading down in their thousands to Wembley Stadium this morning for the Community Shield fixture against Crystal Palace. Traditionally seen as the curtain-raiser to the new season, the fixture sees the winners of the Premier League take on the FA Cup holders for the first piece of silverware.

While it is not seen as the most coveted trophies of the campaign, Arne Slot will be hopeful of starting the season off on the right foot against Oliver Glasner's side. Of course, the Reds qualified for today's match after winning the Premier League last season by a comfortable margin.

As for Palace, they secured their place in the final and Europe after beating Manchester City under the arch in May. The last time these two sides played a competitive fixture was against each other on the final day of the Premier League season.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw at Anfield as Ismaila Sarr's opener was cancelled out late on by Mohamed Salah. Ryan Gravenberch was earlier sent off in the second half.

Ahead of what is sure to be a good occasion for both sets of fans, the ECHO has taken a look at how you can follow all of the action.
