One Chelsea player is under a bit of pressure to deliver a performance that impresses in order to impress Enzo Maresca up against AC Milan.
The Blues have not even been back in action for a week yet, however are about to play their final game of the summer before Crystal Palace visit in the Premier League.
They really impressed with their performance against Bayer Leverkusen on Friday night, winning 2-0 in a game marked by Estevao Willian’s first goal for the club.
Chelsea fans were in awe of Estevao, however a number of fantastic performances from the likes of Moises Caicedo, Andrey Santos and Dario Essugo in the middle of the park seemed to equally catch the eye.

Enzo Fernandez under pressure to perform during Chelsea vs AC Milan
As the midfield trio more than put their case forward for regular involvement to Maresca ahead of the upcoming season, one individual who didn’t feature is Enzo Fernandez.
Fernandez enjoyed a brilliant Club World Cup campaign to go with a superb individual season that ended with 26 goal involvements, a massive improvement on his prior numbers.
Given the quick turnaround from the previous friendly, it is likely that the starting XI is going to be completely different from the one which began on Friday night.
Fernandez played a key role in Chelsea finishing fourth last season, but the speed at which the club continue to do business continues to keep players on their toes, and the World Cup winner needs to deliver a convincing display to prove he will remain one of the first names on the teamsheet next season.

Other Chelsea players who need to impress vs AC Milan
Given how good Chelsea were after just a handful of training sessions against Leverkusen, there are a few players who didn’t start that game will be looking to make their point.
After Estevao’s starring performance, Pedro Neto is under a bit of pressure to deliver as he looks to start the season on the right of attack.
The goalkeeper role looks as if it will be occupied by Robert Sanchez for the upcoming campaign, after a potential deal for Mike Maignan has failed to progress.
However, Filip Jorgensen will certainly have something to say about that, and impressed greatly with a clean sheet in their pre-season opener. The Spaniard will need a similar performance if he is given the start against Milan.
