Harry Maguire has welcomed Manchester United’s latest recruit, Benjamin Sesko, via an Instagram message.
Considering the Red Devils finished a lowly 15th in the Premier League last season, they have managed to pull off a quite remarkable transfer window.
Matheus Cunha arrived first from Wolves, then another English top-flight superstar followed in Bryan Mbeumo.
And now, Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko has arrived in Manchester, where he’s been welcomed by some of his new teammates.

Harry Maguire was one of the first to welcome the 22-year-old, taking to his Instagram story to send a message to him. ‘Welcome’ with a muscle emoji, he writes.

Zirkzee also welcomed Sesko, and many others have followed suit. As did club captain Bruno Fernandes, who shared the exact same message as Maguire, only this time with a different emoji [Instagram].
The Slovenian is delighted to be joining the Red Devils.
“The history of Manchester United is obviously very special, but what really excites me is the future,” said Sesko.
“When we discussed the project, it was clear that everything is in place for this team to continue to grow and compete for the biggest trophies again soon.
“From the moment that I arrived, I could feel the positive energy and family environment that the club has created. It is clearly the perfect place to reach my maximum level and fulfil all of my ambitions.
“I cannot wait to start learning from Ruben and connecting with my teammates to achieve the success that we all know we are capable of together.”

Amorim, with Sesko, has a completely different front three at Old Trafford, which was duly needed given the lack of goal threat for United last season.
It’s a new era at Manchester United, with Sesko now the leading number nine.

Diogo Dalot was also another who welcomed United’s new forward, stating ‘welcome to the family’ on his socials.

Amorim will be trying to build just this. A ‘family’. The arrivals so far have been welcomed graciously by supporters, but now they must prove themselves on the pitch.
Manchester United take on Arsenal in what is a blockbuster fixture for the opening Premier League weekend, where Sesko will have his first opportunity to shine against a side that was interested in him this summer.
