Florian Wirtz gets his first taste of English football after completing his £116m British transfer record move from Bayer Leverkusen. Fellow recruits Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike are also in the starting side for Liverpool.

For Palace, it’s the same starting team that beat Manchester City 1-0 in the FA Cup final. The Eagles are in the Community Shield for the first time after that maiden trophy triumph.
