According to Sean Highkin of Rose Garden Report, per TalkBasket, the Portland Trail Blazers plan to rely heavily on Donovan Clingan and Yang Hansen to carry the load at the center position this upcoming season.

Both players are expected to handle the majority of the minutes in the paint, anchoring Portland’s frontcourt rotation.
Meanwhile, Robert Williams III is viewed as a bit of a wild card. Since joining the Blazers, Williams has only played in 26 games over the past two seasons due to injuries, but he is reportedly healthy heading into summer training.
This is a hopeful sign for a team that could benefit from his rim protection and rebounding. Despite his health, Highkin notes that Williams will likely have a limited role this season.
“He probably won’t be used on back-to-back nights to manage his workload carefully,” the report says. Portland is expected to deploy him in a part-time capacity, using his size and athleticism to make an impact when he’s on the court.
