It had been a frustrating summer transfer window, with Everton only signing Carlos Alcaraz for some time. Now, Moyes has signed Thierno Barry, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Adam Aznou. It now appears the Toffees are looking to sign Grealish, who became the first English footballer to be signed for £100 million or more when he moved to the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2021.

Fabrizio Romano also reports that Grealish has opened the doors to the move with negotiations underway. Everton and City are discussing terms for a potential loan deal.

Grealish has undoubtedly had plenty of high points at the Etihad, but he has been in and out of the side throughout his time at the club. On his day, Grealish is imperious. He possesses exceptional close control and can dance around opposition players with ease.
