On Saturday night, the Dallas Cowboys began their preseason slate against the LA Rams. Though he didn't suit up for the matchup, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb still managed to be a major talking point of the evening.
Lamb has been one of the main standouts for the Cowboys in training camp, which means he'll likely see minimal time on the field in preseason. Dallas doesn't want to risk losing such a vital piece to injury when he already appears ready for the 2025 campaign.
While in street clothes on the sidelines, Lamb was in attendance to cheer on his teammates who were getting reps against the Rams Saturday. He ended up getting too swept up in the action, leading to him having his own viral moment.

Lamb was very engaged on the sidelines Saturday, cheering on the offense as they battled against LA. On one play, he can be seen getting amped up after Jonathan Mingo was able to beat his defender downfield on the outside. Lamb turned his back before the play ended, which ended up being his downfall.
An official was making his way down the sidelines and was too focused on the play to see Lamb in front of him. This led to them having a big collision that took the official off his feet.
Right after the incident, Lamb can be seen throwing his hands up and laughing at what had just transpired. It didn't end there, as he re-posted the clip on his Instagram story for all to enjoy his mishap.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they were unable to kick off the preseason in the win column. The Rams managed to take care of business and walk out with a 31-21 victory.
Although he racked up his fourth straight 1,000-yard season, Lamb's production still took a slight step back last season. This largely stems from the fact that Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending injury midway through the year. With the star QB healthy again, Lamb has an opportunity to get back on track in 2025.
The star wideout targets might go down slightly this season due to the addition of George Pickens. That said, with another dynamic receiver for defenses to worry about, Lamb should still be one of the league's top players at the position.
