Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has stressed the importance of adding more players to their attack before the end of the window to have a better chance of competing in the Premier League next season. The Whites are working towards bringing in reinforcements for the final third.
Farke has made it clear that his Premier League squad are not ready for the long, hard grind of the Premier League with eight days left for their first game back in the top flight. He insisted that without the arrival of new attackers, his team cannot hope to compete in the top flight in the upcoming campaign.

Leeds have turned their focus towards the final third of the pitch, and have prioritised signing a striker who can lead the line next season, a winger who will replace the departed Manor Solomon and an attacking midfielder who will be an upgrade on Brenden Aaronson before the window closes on 1st September.
Whites failed with an attempt to sign Brazilian winger Igor Paixao last month, and since then, they have been considering other options, including Liverpool’s Ben Doak.

Leeds United target Nico Gonzalez has told Juventus he wants to leave
It emerged recently that Leeds have their eyes on Nico Gonzalez, who joined Juventus last year on loan from Fiorentina before the deal was made permanent this summer.
The Argentine’s future at Juventus is under the scanner as the Serie A giants are actively trying to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho before the end of the window.
Italian journalist Gianni Balzarini revealed that Sancho has continued to remain a hot topic for Juventus and the club are still trying to do a deal before the window closes on 1st September.
He admitted that the English winger’s arrival is linked to Gonzalez’s departure, and the former Fiorentina winger has already told the Serie A giants that he wants a transfer
“You ask me about Sancho, Sancho is always there, guys. Sancho is always there. Now, I don’t know if that’s true, but it’s part of personal evaluations”, Balzarini said on his YouTube channel this weekend.
“What’s true is clearly linked to the possible departure of Gonzalez, who now seems to have asked to be sold, so be careful, it seems he asked to be sold precisely because he wants to play in the World Cup.”
Leeds must act fast if they want him
The Whites hold a concrete interest in the 27-year-old winger, but it is unclear whether they have had any concrete talks with the player’s camp.
Gonzalez is available for a transfer, and Juventus are ready to do a deal as they need the squad space to sign Manchester United winger Sancho.
The Italian giants would want to recoup the £25m fee they paid for Gonzalez before agreeing to his departure, but Leeds have a chance to negotiate better terms.
However, the Whites must act fast and convince the player first before approaching negotiations with Juventus over a loan or permanent deal.
