A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has asked the club to grant him a move to another of the Spanish top-flight’s clubs this summer.
That’s according to Blancos reporter Andres Martinez, who points towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.
Midfielder Ceballos has of course seen his name emerge as an altogether prominent one in the transfer headlines across the summer to date.
This comes with the 28-year-old expected to be forced into a backup role in Xabi Alonso’s squad this coming season.
Real Betis, in turn, have been hotly tipped to launch a move for Ceballos.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, then the former Arsenal man appears to be equally keen on a Verdiblancos reunion.
As per a report from the aforementioned Andreas Martinez:
‘Daniel Ceballos has requested that an attempt be made with Betis, and he would do his part. He considers himself out of the plans. Already significant disagreements.’
Daniel Ceballos ha pedido que se intente lo del Betis, que pondría de su parte. Se considera fuera de los planes. Desavenencias ya grandes.
