Wolves get their 2025/26 Premier League season underway next weekend against Manchester City, and Vitor Pereira has some big decisions to make.
Wolves played their final pre-season match on Saturday against Celta Vigo, losing 1-0 at Molineux.
It was an uninspiring performance from Wolves, and a clear reminder to the board that a few new signings are required to make the squad competitive.
There has been an exodus this summer so far.
But only three new players have arrived, and fans are concerned with that game against City now just six days away.
One of those new signings for Wolves is David Moller Wolfe – and it remains to be seen if he will be selected to start Wolves’ opening game.

Molineux legend Mel Eves has expressed his concern about the wing-backs situation at Wolves at the moment.
Wolves have lost Rayan Ait-Nouri and Nelson Semedo this summer, and those two exits could really end up stinging.
Wolves may have landed a new left wing-back in Moller Wolfe.

But for Lee Naylor, Wolves would be better off actually starting Hugo Bueno against City next Saturday.
The former Wolves left-back said on Matchday Live Extra: “I think Bueno’s got to start.
“I haven’t seen enough of Wolfe to have that opinion of him yet, if I’m totally honest. I don’t think today’s game I could build an opinion if I’m totally honest.
“But you know what you’re going to get from Hugo. And you know what you’re going to get with Larsen being in the team.
“And that’s one of our best chances of getting goals.
“That (Premier League experience) as well. I just think that the season what he had last season on loan, we built his confidence up. I don’t necessarily think pre-season has helped him. But I think he’s the one who’s got to start the season.”

Bueno must take chance if picked for Wolves
Potentially Bueno could start against City, given Moller Wolfe has not been with the team for very long.
That said, Bueno was late returning to the group after his involvement with the Spain U21s at the Euros this summer.
But if the Spaniard does get the nod from Pereira next weekend he simply has to take his chance.
Because Wolfe has been signed and is the profile of player that Pereira seems to really like, offering physicality and athleticism.
Moller Wolfe should be available to face Man City after it was cleared up that he wasn’t a concussion substitute against Celta Vigo.
But perhaps Pereira might just give Bueno the opportunity.
