Darwin Nunez has completed his transfer from Liverpool to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, ending a three-year spell at Anfield.
The £56.6 million deal includes a fixed fee of £46.2 million plus add-ons, with the move subject to international clearance.
The Uruguayan joined the Reds from Benfica in 2022 and quickly announced himself by scoring on his competitive debut in the FA Community Shield win over Manchester City.
Over his 143 appearances, Nunez scored 40 goals and played a key role in winning the Premier League and Carabao Cup, along with lifting the Community Shield.

After finalising the move, Darwin Nunez took to Instagram to share a heartfelt farewell message to Liverpool supporters.
“THANK YOU, LIVERPOOL. THREE YEARS ON, IT’S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE. I’LL TAKE WITH ME COUNTLESS MEMORIES THAT WILL LIVE WITH ME FOREVER. I LEAVE WITH A FULL HEART, THANKS TO THE LOVE OF A CROWD THAT NEVER LET ME DOWN AND ALWAYS HAD MY BACK THROUGH THE HIGHS AND THROUGH THE LOWS.

The 26-year-old’s spell at Anfield included memorable moments such as his late double against Newcastle United in 2023 and crucial stoppage-time goals at Brentford in January that proved pivotal in Liverpool’s title-winning campaign.
Liverpool thanked Nunez for his service, wishing him and his family well for the future.
His departure follows a summer of significant change at Anfield, with the club reshaping its attacking options under Arne Slot.
