Broncos QB Bo Nix excited to ‘get better’ after boring preseason debut

Denver Broncos QB Bo Nix was fine on Saturday night.

He exited the game with the Broncos down 9-3, and then backup QBs Jarrett Stidham and Sam Ehlinger led Denver to a 30-9 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Nothing was on Bo Nix as he finished 6-11 for 31 yards.

The games don’t matter, so who really cares?

After the game, Nix was asked about his performance and gave a phenomenal answer.

“The good thing about football is every one of those plays were different today. You saw a different outcome so you can talk about it and just add that to your football knowledge and move on and go from there,” Nix said.

The Broncos will need to Nix to be better starting Week 1 against the Titans, but for now, this is fine.

“This season will be really fun because you actually go a week long on an opponent and actually prepare for them before you go into a game. And today was kind of like a change of a practice, you get to see different looks and it’s kind of fun,” Nix said.

Denver crushed San Francisco by a final score of 30-9. Even if head coach Sean Payton wasn’t happy, it was stil a nice effort. But the QB Nix is looking for more.

“When we go back and nitpick it, we’ll be able to find some things to get better at,” Nix said.

That’s a great attitude from Bo Nix. He’s super motivated. And he wants to lead the Broncos to a place they haven’t been in a long time.
