The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired DeAndre Ayton who many believe will excel playing with Luka Doncic but for rapper and Big 3 founder Ice Cube, he will not last long in the line-up. And so, the team should look elsewhere, look for a superstar like Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Ice Cube does not see Ayton as a superstar and he believes the team should land another big man who is on MVP level.
One thing he considered is this big man’s possible dynamics with Doncic. He thought the former Dallas Mavericks star and this next star big man should continue the tradition of pick and roll that became the bread and butter of the team.
He mentioned the time Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal did it, the time of Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bob McAdoo, and Wilt Chamberlain.
“I was shocked, but not surprised,” he said when asked about the team’s acquisition of Ayton.

“The Lakers are amazing when it comes to this kind of stuff. They’ve been doing it since Bob McAdoo. They always somewhat get their man. This has been happening since I wasn’t paying attention as much with Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.”
Ice Cube wants Giannis Antetokounmpo
One name his hosts forwarded is Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets. He got all the criteria to be called a superstar, of course.
Jokic is a one-time NBA champion and a three-time MVP. He is a perennial All-Star and is still at the peak of his career.
Cube is not sold about Jokic. He thinks he and Doncic will be too playful. He said he’d rather have the Greek Freak than Jokic.
“I would take Giannis. I think he (Doncic) would have too much fun with Jokic,
he continued.

“They’d go off the rails. You gotta sometimes break up some of that fun because it doesn’t always spill onto the court. It spills off the court.”
This take is just a wishful thinking. Giannis is staying with the Bucks. But of course, with what went down in February involving Luka, the unthinkable has a high chance of happening.
