Jack Harrison is an extremely controversial figure at Leeds United.
Harrison was the recipient of loud jeers from his own supporters in the 1-1 draw with AC Milan (9 August) in Dublin.
He spent the last two seasons on loan with Everton and will be reunited with his former club in the Premier League opener next Monday at Elland Road (18 August).
Here, MOT Leeds News looks at why the ex-Manchester City man is not the most popular man amongst the Elland Road fanbase.

Harrison left Leeds in the dust twice
It seems like Harrison bolted from Leeds at the first opportunity when they were relegated from the top flight in 2023.

He initially returned to training and was expected to be a key man as they sought to return to where they belong at the first opportunity.
However, he activated a loan clause in his contract and spent the 2023-24 season on loan with Everton.
He spent the 2024-25 campaign with the Toffees again after the Peacocks failed to secure promotion in the previous season.
That has left many questioning his commitment to the Yorkshire club, as he was not willing to help them try to climb back up to the elite level.

His mum’s comments did not help
Harrison’s mother upset Whites supporters with her comments during the Blues’ top-flight clash with Burnley in December 2023.
While celebrating her son’s side beating the Clarets in a 2-0 victory, a Toffees fan urged Harrison not to go back to the LS11 outfit.
She replied by saying: “[expletive] hope not.”
It is safe to say that Leeds fans did not take the reaction well, but Harrison later clarified that it was a protective response to negative social media comments about her son.
While it was a tongue-in-cheek comment, it did nothing to improve the relationship between the 28-year-old and his parent club’s faithful.
Is there a way back for him at Leeds?
While many supporters would love nothing more than to see Harrison never don the famous White shirt again, there may still be a way back for him.
Other players have worked their way back after leaving on loan when the Whites were relegated, such as Brenden Aaronson and Max Wober.
It remains to be seen whether Harrison can do the same, but it seems like he will be given the chance to try.
