West Ham have “expressed interest” in Liverpool winger Ben Doak, along with Leeds, according to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph.
The journalist usually has very strong sources when it comes to Scottish players and he confirms a story from earlier this week that the Hammers are keen on the 19-year-old.
With Liverpool having rejected bids of around £20m in January, supporters on X have been debating whether Doak is worth the outlay:

West Ham need more options out wide
Head coach Graham Potter has already confirmed that Maxwel Cornet will be allowed to leave on a permanent deal if a buyer can be found.
With Mohammed Kudus having already left for Tottenham, it leaves Potter with just three wingers: captain Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville and Luis Guilherme.
For that reason, you can understand why there is interest in Doak. His price tag may, though, scare them off from making a bid.
A Chelsea outcast could be targeted instead of Doak
If a move for the Scottish international proves to be too expensive, Raheem Sterling could well come under consideration.
Although the 30-year-old would have to take a substantial pay cut, he could be brought in for a lower fee than Doak.
In other news, ExWHUEmployee has confirmed that a West Ham transfer is “90% done” as the club close in on their 5th signing of the summer transfer window
