Liverpool quietly revealed a new Adidas goalkeeper kit in Community Shield

Liverpool launched their new home and away kits at the start of August, but Sunday’s Community Shield quietly revealed another goalkeeper kit for 2025/26.

The Reds kicked off their reunion with Adidas by unveiling the new home and away kits on August 1, with the third kit to be launched later this year.

Adidas’ return has seen the club announce the launch as the most successful in the club’s history, with orders from over 150 different countries.

Liverpool donned their home kit in the double-header against Athletic Club before debuting the away strip in the Community Shield, a match that also saw Alisson don an unseen kit.

To date, Adidas and Liverpool have only released a green goalkeeper kit, but at Wembley the Brazilian was debuting a new black and grey kit with lime green accents.

The kit is an Adidas template, Tiro 25, with Aston Villa among the clubs with the same design and colour for their goalkeepers, which includes grey shorts and socks.

Liverpool’s goalkeepers will wear a green version with the home kit, as Giorgi Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman and Armin Pecsi modelled at Anfield.

It was a quiet unveiling of the second goalkeeper kit for 2025/26 at Wembley as it was not included in the official launch of the away kit or currently listed for sale online.

There is still expected to be a third option for the goalkeepers this season, with an online leak suggesting it will be pink with black accents.

The last kit will be expected to be unveiled alongside the new third kit, widely anticipated to be an all-timer.

Liverpool and Adidas have agreed a 10-year contract in what is the third partnership in their history, with the German manufacturer also supplying kits from 1985 to 1996 and then 2006 to 2012.

Sales are up by over 700 percent from last year’s Nike kit launch, with Florian Wirt’s No. 7 shirt selling more than any other.
