Alisson Becker's wife has paid a heartfelt tribute to the Liverpool FC goalkeeper. Natalia Becker has been married to the Brazilian number one since 2015 and they are the proud parents of three children.
Natalia has recently underwent an operation, which prompted her husband to leave the Reds pre-season tour of Japan earlier than planned. She later shared an update to confirm she was recovering after the surgery. A translation of the post said: "Post op pic portrait of a real life. Now I'm recovering at home.
"Thank God, to the wonderful team that served me and all the love I received, everything is evolving well. Thanks to all who sent messages."
Alisson returned to the starting XI yesterday for the Community Shield at Wembley. The Brazilian put in a strong display as he kept out two of the penalties in the shootout.
However, the Reds were eventually defeated as the team missed three of their five penalties. Natalia took to social media to pay tribute to Alisson yesterday, as it marked Father's Day in their native Brazil.
A translation of the post said: "Ali, since you became a father, my admiration for you has only grown. Our children are privileged. And what I love most is that you manage to be the loving, present, and protective father each one needs, in their own unique way.
"Helena's father, Matteo's father, and Rafael's father... the same person, but with a special focus on each need and personality. May God bless you, continue to bless you, and may they always experience and learn from God's love through your life. I love you."
Natalia regularly uses her account to show support for her husband. She took to social media last week to congratulate her husband after he was nominated for the 2025 Yachine Trophy as part of the annual Ballon d’Or award.
Natalia reshared the Liverpool FC post, alongside the caption: "So proud of you." The Yachine trophy is named after the legendary Lev Yashin, and is awarded to the best goalkeeper in the world.
The Brazilian is up for the prize against Yassine Bounou, Lucas Chevalier, Thibaut Courtois, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Emiliano Martinez, Jan Oblak, David Raya, Matz Sels and Yann Sommer. The winner will be announced on September 22.
Alisson will return to the action on Friday night as the Reds' bid to retain their Premier League title will get underway against Bournemouth at Anfield.
