Newcastle United have completed another Academy arrival ahead of the 2025/26 season.
we revealed in an NUFC Blog exclusive last week that West Brom talent Muawiya Ghanem had joined our under-16s, but there’s another new boy in, this time from Liverpool.
Isaac Moran has sealed a move from Merseyside, joining the club’s academy after rejecting a new contract with the Reds.
The 16-year-old is an England youth international who has captained his country and Liverpool at under-15 level.
He has often operated as a midfielder, but looks set to play at centre-back in Chris Moore’s under-18 side as a first-year scholar.
Discussing his arrival, Academy Director Steve Harper has praised the youngster’s pedigree, maturity and leadership:
“Isaac joins us with a strong pedigree and a maturity beyond his years.
“The leadership qualities he has displayed to date speak volumes about his character, and we’re excited to help him continue developing both as a player and a person.
“He’s a driven individual who fits the values of our Academy perfectly.
“Isaac’s addition to the Academy reflects the continued excellence of our recruitment team, whose efforts remain integral to our long-term strategy.”
Welcome, Isaac!
