The excitement ahead of Benjamin Sesko’s potential debut for Manchester United that could come against Arsenal is at fever pitch, and the latest indications add to it.
After already becoming a fan favourite at Old Trafford by joining Man Utd while snubbing Newcastle’s advances, Benjamin Sesko will hope to provide the answer to the club’s striker worries.
Ruben Amorim was open about how United missed a presence up front against Fiorentina, and sounded hopeful of the difference Sesko can make.
Sesko will need to be match fit, which will come with time, but meanwhile, he is already capable of doing something only two other players are known for.

Benjamin Sesko is similar to Haaland and Ibrahimovic
Sesko has been compared to Erling Haaland many times before, and their careers will forever be interlinked, since Sesko was effectively RB Group’s answer to selling Haaland.
On the other hand, Sesko has admitted that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is his idol, and the physical similarities are also clear to see.
With Amorim demanding more physicality in the squad, it doesn’t come much better than a 6’5″ Slovenian who also runs like a sports car.
As per The Athletic, Sesko’s physical gifts allow him to do what people have seen only Haaland and Ibrahimovic could, and that is to do with their physical dexterity.

A Premier League scout said: “One of the traits all three players — Ibrahimovic, Haaland, and Sesko — share lies in their physical dexterity.
“He’s not like Haaland in terms of how he actually plays his position. But watch the way he receives the ball. Or watch how he receives it. He’s so tall and is so agile that even if teammates are inaccurate with their delivery, he’s still able to do something with it.
“That includes his work in the penalty box, because there are times when he scores goals that only players with those physical properties could have scored.
“There’s a technical element to that, but look at some of the photos of him off the ground. He takes the ball with his feet at what would be head-height for most players.”
Sesko will have the tools to succeed at Man Utd
Unlike the player he’s effectively replacing – Rasmus Hojlund – Sesko will have the tools to succeed at Manchester United.
While Hojlund’s physical gifts aren’t as overwhelming as Sesko, similar things were also said about him when he signed, but the club failed him.
No structure was put around him, and the managerial changes without a coherent pattern of attack killed his confidence.
In contrast, Sesko arrives as the third wheel in a three-pronged attack that has been entirely refashioned to suit his strengths.
Sesko’s skill set combined like a dream with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, and with Joshua Zirkzee, he will have a settled backup in place, too.
Combine that with his physical gifts that are only matched by two other players, and the stage is set for a leap at Man Utd, both figuratively and literally!
