Chelsea are reportedly prepared to offer Christopher Nkunku to RB Leipzig in talks over a swap deal for Xavi Simons.
The Blues have already bolstered their attacking options this summer, having recruited Jamie Gittens, Estevao, Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
However, Chelsea are still keen to bring in more attacking reinforcements before the transfer window closes for business on September 1.
They are taking steps to recruit Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, having struck an **agreement over personal terms**with the Argentina international.
Enzo Maresca's side have also been heavily linked with Leipzig's Simons, who has hinted that he could be on his way to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea in talks over Simons, Nkunku swap deal
According to The Guardian, Chelsea are currently discussing the possibility of a swap deal with Leipzig.
The proposed deal would see Simons head to the Premier League, while Nkunku would return to his old stomping ground at the Red Bull Arena.
The German club are keen to re-sign the France attacker, who scored 70 goals and provided 56 assists in 172 competitive appearances for Leipzig between 2019 and 2023.
Leipzig are keen to strengthen in the final third after recently selling striker Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United for around £73m.
Chelsea would still have to splash out on a 'sizeable fee' for Simons, even if Nkunku moves in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

Why are Chelsea willing to offload Nkunku?
Chelsea spent £52m to sign Nkunku from Leipzig in the summer of 2023, but the forward has failed to live up to his price tag during his time at Stamford Bridge.
The 27-year-old has mustered 18 goals and five assists in 62 competitive appearances and now finds himself well down the pecking order in Maresca's squad.
Chelsea are now ready to cut their losses as they look to free up space in their squad for new additions in the final few weeks of the transfer window.
In addition to Nkunku, Chelsea are also looking to offload Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson.
