SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico—**Indiana** moved to 2-0 on its Puerto Rico trip with a victory over Mega Superbet on Saturday evening, but the story was completely different from the 93-71 outcome it suggests.

Mega Superbet is a talented team out of the Adriatic Basketball Association. Bogoljub Markovic was drafted in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. Lazar Gacic is a promising prospect. Asim Djulovic has been a productive player throughout the development system. Urban Krofic has drawn hype for his potential. Mega Superbet is not a low-level team.

RABJOHNS GAME STORY

They were talented enough to build a 44-21 lead in the second quarter. Still, the Hoosiers managed to right the ship for the 22-point victory. At one point, Indiana swung the game by 51 points.

DEVRIES TALKS TO THE MEDIA AFTER BEATING MEGA SUPERBET

Mega Superbet was physical from the start. Indiana had more mass, but Superbet sought contact and physicality from the tip. Fifteen fouls were called in the first quarter, nine on Indiana, but Superbet bullied the Hoosiers away from screens and away from the basket early.

By the middle of the second quarter, not only did Indiana match the physicality, but the Hoosiers started to implement techniques to break the pressure. There were more backdoor cuts, and Tayton Conerway began to turn the corner. Those measures helped break the pressure Indiana faced early in the game.

Here are a few other areas that stood out in Saturday night's exhibition win for the Hoosiers.
