Player set to chose between Leeds United and Fulham soon – Both options considered by entourage

Last week, Corriere dello Sport reported Fulham were readying an attempt to beat Leeds United in a move for Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi.

The newspaper had teased an ‘English derby’ between the two clubs, even if the Whites had initially seemed close to landing the Iran international.

Now, Gazzetta dello Sport report that Taremi is increasingly inclined towards moving to England but a final decision between Fulham and Leeds United is pending.

The 33-year-old’s entourage has been told to find a new destination by Inter and contact was made by both the clubs last weekend through Taremi’s agents.

The player will chose between Leeds United and Fulham in the next few days, with the ex-Porto striker keen on a switch to the Premier League, having failed to make a mark in his only season at Inter.

It has been previously reported that Taremi is not expected to cost much and could even move on a free loan deal.
