Everton may need to splash the cash under The Friedkin Group (TFG) to sign Manchester City forward Jack Grealish.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium all summer after being left out of Pep Guardiola’s squad for the Club World Cup.
David Moyes wants to see Grealish at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the coming weeks, but it remains to be seen whether the Toffees can reach an agreement for him.
TFG are eyeing an ambitious move for Grealish, and talks have taken place, but the demands from City could potentially be astronomical for the Merseyside outfit.

The GiveMeSport journalist revealed on X (11 August) that Thomas Tuchel has told the England international that he’s in the Three Lions’ plans, provided he plays regularly.
It’s been claimed that the Blues are in advanced talks with Man City for the 29-year-old forward, but will have to cover 100 per cent of his wages.
Grealish joined Man City in 2021 for £100million.
The attacker lost his place in the Cityzens’ starting lineup last season.
With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, the 29-year-old will undoubtedly be motivated.
Fabrizio Romano now reports on X (11 August) that a loan deal has been agreed for the former Aston Villa star at Bramley-Moore Dock, and his medical is booked.
Grealish’s move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium could potentially cost £15.6m in wages if the Merseyside outfit have agreed to the Cityzens’ demands.
The Englishman earns £300,000 in weekly wages, which may be covered by the Blues as a deal looks to be imminent.

Grealish in: Who drops out of Moyes’ starting lineup?
Moyes will definitely build his team around Grealish, hoping the forward rediscovers his form in L5.
The Man City dynamo can play in multiple positions for Everton, but the Scottish manager will be sensible to give him the freedom up front.
With Iliman Ndiaye on the left wing, it would make sense to deploy the England international in the number 10 position to pull the strings in the final third.
Abdoulaye Doucoure was Moyes’ go-to attacking midfielder last season, and Grealish will now be a massive upgrade over the Mali international.
