One Chelsea player has really caught the Italian media’s attention after his performance against AC Milan on Sunday.
Chelsea beat Milan 4-1 at Stamford Bridge, with Liam Delap grabbing a brace and Joao Pedro also netting.
Despite not scoring, the likes of Cole Palmer and Reece James did well, too, and will no doubt be key players for Enzo Maresca‘s side this season.
It is another Chelsea star, though, who has got the Italian media talking with his display over the weekend.

At present, after Palmer, Pedro is probably Chelsea’s most effective player. Not only did the forward score against Milan, but he also managed to net in the friendly game before versus Bayer Leverkusen.
Before that, Pedro fired past both Paris Saint-Germain and his former club Fluminense at the Club World Cup.
His performances are not going unnoticed either, with the 23-year-old being a talking point in Italy following his display against Milan.

Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claimed that Maresca had “hit the jackpot” with Pedro, and it is not hard to disagree with them.
Chelsea paid a lot of money to sign Pedro from Brighton & Hove Albion, handing their Premier League rivals around £60m. But he has been worth every penny so far.
Joe Cole has also had some praise for Pedro, believing that Chelsea do not realise just how good a signing the Brazilian is.

Enzo Maresca sends Chelsea fans Joao Pedro warning
Pedro cannot do anything wrong right now, but Maresca has warned Chelsea supporters that will not always be the case.
While the Chelsea head coach expects the Brazil international and Delap to continue scoring, he is not naive enough to believe that they will not miss chances.
When Maresca discussed Pedro and Delap after the Milan game, he said: “They will score goals for sure and miss goals for sure. But at the end, they are going to help us.”
Whatever the case, Pedro has quickly proven to be an amazing addition to this Chelsea squad, something that the Italian media have recognised.
