The Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl chances took a blow Sunday, less than a month before the start of the 2025 NFL season.
The reigning champions will look to defend their title when the NFL returns to action in just under four weeks but they may have to do so without a key member of their offensive line.
Left guard Landon Dickerson had to be helped off the field after suffering what appeared to be a right leg injury during the Eagles' open practice Sunday evening.
The Pro Bowl guard was injured on a pass play and remained down on the field for several minutes, silencing the 50,000-strong crowd.
The 26-year-old was unable to put any weight on the right leg before being helped to a cart and being transported inside.
Dickerson is expected to undergo an MRI scan on his knee on Monday, Adam Schefter reported.

Dickerson had been listed on the injury report on Saturday with a knee injury. He was not listed on the report on Sunday.
He was replaced in the lineup by Brett Toth, who has also stepped in for the three-time Pro Bowler in previous absences.
It comes as a blow for Nick Sirianni's team as they look to maintain their crown this season as Dickerson has proven to be a critical member of one of the NFL's best offensive lines in the past few seasons.
Last year, Dickerson paved the way for Saquon Barkley during the star's record-breaking 2024 campaign, in which he rushed for 2,504 on the way to the Eagles' Super Bowl victory.
Dickerson was a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft out of the University of Alabama.
He is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and has started 62 of 63 regular-season games played for the Eagles in his four-year NFL career. He also has started nine playoff games, including all four last season as Philadelphia won the Super Bowl.
He has quickly established himself as an elite interior offensive lineman. Last season, he earned a 79.2 overall PFF grade, ranking 13th among 136 qualifying guards.
The Eagles' injury report on Sunday listed wide receiver Elijah Cooks (shoulder), guard Kenyon Green (shoulder), long snapper Charley Hughlett (neck), running back Montrell Johnson Jr. (hamstring) and defensive tackle Byron Young (groin) as not practicing.
The Eagles are slated to have joint practices scheduled with the Cleveland Browns this week. Dickerson's availability for those training sessions in currently unknown.
