Benjamin Sesko only had Manchester United on his mind during his transfer saga this summer.
Manchester United completed a £66 million deal to sign Benjamin Sesko over the weekend, making him the fourth new addition to Ruben Amorim’s squad this summer.
Sesko is ideal for Amorim’s system, and he completes a new-look attack for the Red Devils alongside Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
But Ineos faced plenty of competition for the Slovenian star with Newcastle also pushing to sign Sesko this summer.
However, Benjamin Sesko only wanted to join Manchester United this summer, and now he has spoken for the first time at his new home.

Why Benjamin Sesko only wanted to join Man United
Despite finishing 15th in the Premier League last season and missing out on European football entirely, United have enjoyed a wonderful summer transfer window, with Sesko the latest to arrive.
United’s signings were all desperate to join, which is a credit to the club’s incredible heritage and stature.
In his first club interview, Sesko explained his decision.

“I think, first of all, because of the club,” Sesko said. “It’s just a historical club that is unbelievable.
“For me, the team is great. It is getting better and better and that’s why also there is just stuff that makes you come there, gives you this energy that you want to be part of.
“I think it’s a great project, in general, and I can’t wait to start, definitely.”
Just hours after the deal was announced, Amorim backed Sesko to settle quickly at United, explaining that he is a perfect fit for the squad and dressing room.
“He will realise during his first training that he is at the right place [for his development]. That’s really important. He has the characteristics that we needed,” Amorim said.
The first photos of Sesko in training have now been revealed, and it seems the Slovenian is hitting the ground running ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.
