There is a quiet confidence around Chelsea right now and their chances going into the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The Blues are champions of the world after their Club World Cup triumph, with Enzo Maresca adding that honour to a very successful first campaign in charge.
Chelsea have brought in a number of new players to bolster their squad ahead of the new season, and plenty of those are already making their mark.
Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens have all impressed in their early showings for the club, while there is so much excitement over Estevao Willian and the impact he will have at Stamford Bridge.

Jody Morris very impressed by Chelsea’s pre-season campaign
Their participation in the United States saw very little time for pre-season. The Blues played just two friendlies against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan to prepare for the new campaign.
Dominant performances saw Chelsea run out 2-0 and 4-1 winners, leaving plenty of excitement over what is to come in the new season.
Former Chelsea star and assistant manager Jody Morris has remained invested in the club since his departure, and has been impressed with what he saw over the weekend at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “The Chels looking very good this pre-season.”

Chelsea lose key man to serious injury
Chelsea are set to be without Levi Colwill for a prolonged period of time after he required surgery on a knee injury suffered at the start of pre-season.
With Wesley Fofana absent from the friendlies as he steps up his recovery, there is some concern over the defensive options who will be available for Maresca to start the campaign.
There was some concern when Trevoh Chalobah limped off during the win against AC Milan, with youngster Josh Acheampong partnering Tosin Adarabioyo for the latter stages of the game.
However, Chalobah confirmed he was okay, and looks set to feature against his former side to kick off the new season.
