As Jack Grealish is set to join Everton on loan, The Friedkin Group have included an interesting clause.
After months of waiting, Grealish joining Everton this summer is finally happening, as David Moyes has got his man.
The winger joining Everton will be confirmed in 24 hours, as Moyes has called Grealish the ‘best in the league’.
His arrival provides a real statement made by the owners, as after being previously signed for £100 million, it’s clear he’s a quality player.
It didn’t work out for him at Man City in the end, and although he starts a new chapter at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, there is something else that must be known.

Jack Grealish has £50m buy option in Everton loan transfer
With the 29-year-old being out of sorts after recent seasons in Manchester, who better than Moyes to bring the best out of the winger once again.
Grealish’s loan is set to cost £15 million, but the Toffees could be paying even more for their soon-to-be winger further down the line, as David Ornstein has confirmed a £50 million buy option is in the City star’s agreement.

Everton will now have the chance to sign Grealish for half the price City paid for him in 2021.
It’s still early days as many will be against paying this fee for someone of the winger’s age, but if he performs like Premier League fans know he can, this could be very likely to happen.
Jack Grealish has to hit double figures at Everton to justify £50 million fee
With Evertonians already debating whether a loan deal is the right way forward due to the midfielder’s excessive wages, this throws another spanner in the works.
£50 million for Grealish, who is past his prime and is known to have injury issues, is a big risk, but if his numbers reflect well during his loan spell, it could be the right move.
The England international has been known to bring up strong goal involvements in the top flight, but his last few seasons will raise concerns.

2023/24 4 (3G+1A)

Grealish joining Everton is a ‘golden opportunity’ for both player and club, but he must improve on his output if he’s to be considered for a permanent move.
£50 million is very steep, but time will tell if the winger’s performances justify this possibility.
