Shedeur Sanders, quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, had some choice words for reporter Tony Grossi for spreading negative slander about him. This happened right after the preseason opener between the Cleveland Browns and the Carolina Panthers, where Sanders truly shone like a star. The first preseason game saw the Browns win with a smooth 30-10, with Sanders leading the offense remarkably.

As Sanders walked back to the locker room, he confronted Tony Grossi, although in jest, for always talking negatively about him. Deion Sanders’ youngest son also asked Grossi to take a positive spin on him for once, instead of always aiming for the negative.
“Tony, I be hoping you’ve got something positive to say about me. You always say negative stuff about me. And I’m like, ‘I ain’t do nothing to you. Come on, what I do? What’d I do to you, Tony?” Shedeur Sanders said to Tony Grossi after the preseason game against the Carolina Panthers.

Shedeur Sanders was truly remarkable in his debut for the Cleveland Browns in this NFL preseason. The rookie quarterback managed to score two touchdowns for the team, completing 14 passes out of 23 attempts for a total of 138 yards. After his incredible win against the Panthers, it is being reported that Sanders is no longer QB4 and has definitely moved up the ranks in the depth chart. Still, this is all just here-say and only rumors until now.
Shedeur Sanders Skeptical Of His Performance During Preseason Opener
While Shedeur Sanders is being praised for his incredible performance in the preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers, Deion Sanders’ youngest son does not seem too enthralled by his numbers.
“I don’t feel like I was sharp at all, honestly. I think I was OK today, but you know, the next opportunity I get I just, you know, got to build on this one.”Shedeur Sanders said after being played by Tyler Huntley on the field.

Shedeur Sanders seemed to have mixed emotions regarding his performance against the Carolina Panthers. The rookie quarterback is definitely holding himself to pretty high standards for his debut season, and did not even want his father to be present at the training camp to watch him. In regards to this, Sanders admitted that he only wanted his father to be present when he knows he is going to play really well. Meanwhile, the Browns will be soon in preseason action again next week as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
