Man City are holding “talks” with Tottenham about selling Savinho for a fee in excess of €50m (£43m), according to The Athletic ‘s David Ornstein.
The trusted journalist has confirmed claims that the Cityzens are willing to offload the Brazilian international just twelve months after his arrival at the Etihad.
Needless to say, supporters on X are surprised by this latest development, with some assuming that City already have a player lined up to replace Savinho:

Savinho is “open “to joining Spurs
It is believed that manager Pep Guardiola won’t stand in the way of the 21-year-old if he is keen on making the switch to North London.
Guardiola has made it very clear in the past that he doesn’t want anyone in his squad who isn’t 100% committed. Ornstein claims that Savinho is “open” to moving so that suggests that that this rumour has legs.
City fans are hoping to sign Rodrygo
Some have raised the prospect that Savinho’s departure could open the door for another Brazilian winger to be brought in.
Rodrygo is not part of Real Madrid’s plans, and there is a feeling that he could leave the Bernabeu before the transfer window closes if he can’t win over new head coach Xabi Alonso.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool have been heavily linked with Rodrygo, but City would be perfectly placed to swoop in if they do offload Savinho.
