Tottenham Hotspur are working on a shock deal to sign Manchester City forward Savinho, with talks having commenced between the two clubs.
As TBR Football sources confirmed last week, Tottenham are keen on Savinho and were offered the chance to sign the 21-year-old.
Now, Tottenham have stepped up talks for Savinho, with Manchester City demanding £50m plus add-ons for the Brazilian international.
The winger’s arrival at Tottenham Hotspur would generate a lot of excitement in North London, but one of the club’s current players will be particularly keen on his arrival.

Mohammed Kudus could move to the number ten role if Tottenham sign Savinho
New Tottenham signing Mohammed Kudus has previously revealed that his favourite position is in the number ten role.
Tottenham want to sign an attacking midfielder, TBR Football revealed last week, with James Maddison’s ACL injury further reinforcing these plans.
Kudus, who’s impressed Brennan Johnson, could now be moved into his favoured central role to replace the 28-year-old, who is set to miss the majority of the new campaign.
The Ghanaian international spoke about how he has been playing as a midfielder since he was a child, but recently transitioned into a winger.
During an interview with Sky Sports back in 2023, Kudus revealed: “I like the number ten, attacking midfielder, that’s where I’ve played all my years, playing since I was a kid.
“Recently, I’ve been playing other positions as well, such as on the wings, even striker sometimes when I was at Ajax, but I’ve always been a midfielder.”
Kudus, who Tottenham signed for £55m, could become the answer to Spurs’ attacking midfield crisis should Savinho arrive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski are expected to miss several months of action, meaning Spurs could also dip into the transfer market for another option.
TBR Football’s resident Manchester City expert, Srinivas Sadhanand, has told the site that Savinho is best at playing on the right wing.
The Brazilian is actually comfortable to play on either flank, but his finest moments in a Man City shirt have come as a right winger.
Sadhanand said: “In my opinion, he’s looked at his best on the right at City. He’s far more unpredictable as a right-winger in one versus one situations.
“Whereas on the left, Savinho’s one-footedness means that, barring crossing the ball from the flank, he looks rather ineffective out there.”
TBR Football understands that City are looking for around £50m plus add-ons for the winger, with talks ongoing over a deal.
