It didn't take long for former Nebraska defensive tackle Ty Robinson to make an impact in an NFL preseason game.
Robinson, a fourth-round draft pick of the Eagles, notched a sack Thursday night in Philadelphia's 34-27 win over the Bengals. Robinson had two tackles overall on the evening. He was one of two former Huskers taken in the NFL draft; tight end and Council Bluffs Lewis Central alum Thomas Fidone also made his debut this weekend.
Playing for the Giants, Fidone caught three passes for 23 yards in New York's 34-25 win over Buffalo. He had a long catch of 16 yards.
Former Husker linebacker John Bullock had two tackles and two pass breakups for the Buccaneers in a 29-7 win over Titans. In Carolina, Isaac Gifford had five tackles in a 30-10 loss to the Browns. Omar Brown had four tackles while Isaiah Neyor had a target, but no catches, in Green Bay's 30-10 loss to the Jets, who got a solid performance from former Husker quarterback Adrian Martinez, who completed 15 of 23 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.
