Leeds United saw two players complete transfer deals over the weekend. The Whites also finished their pre-season preparations against AC Milan.
Leeds played a 1-1 draw with the Serie A side on Saturday. After the game, Daniel Farke once again addressed the situations around the club. Mateo Joseph and Joe Gelhardt had completed loan moves away for this upcoming season. The Leeds boss said losing the duo will not really impact the club moving forward:

”Our offensive players who have left us were not really in our plans for the new season. So it doesn’t really make a big difference but to have this business sorted in general is quite good, yes.”
Two departures also give a huge sign that there will be new signings during the week. Leeds face Everton in their Premier League opener on Monday night.

Leeds may finally have their chance to sign a striker. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi is closing in on a move to England this summer. Fulham and Leeds are among the names being linked so far.
The newspaper reports that the 33-year old will make his decision on which club to join soon. Taremi’s representatives have already contact Inter Milan, who have told the striker to find a new club this summer.
How much would Taremi cost?
Taremi is very much not in Inter’s plans for the upcoming season. The club got him on a free transfer, but were looking to make a profit this summer. Inter internally discussed selling him for a fee or allowing him to leave on a free transfer.
Now, according to the report from Gazzetta dello Sport, it has been revealed that Taremi could leave for a very low transfer fee. The report also added that the deal could eventually be a season-long loan with no loan fee.
One signing will not be enough
This summer Leeds could lost up to three attackers. Mateo Joseph has already left on a loan deal, as well as Joe Gelhardt. Patrick Bamford remains at the club, but many expect him to leave before the end of the month.
If Bamford leaves, Leeds will be without two options that served as backup for Joel Piroe last season. Going into the Premier League with just Lukas Nmecha, Joel Piroe and Mehdi Taremi up front will not be enough firepower.
