Manchester United now officially have less than a week to go before their Premier League campaign gets underway.

United host Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday in their first competitive match of the new season. Ruben Amorim and Co. go into the new campaign on the back of an impressive pre-season trip to the United States and a penalty shootout win over Fiorentina at the weekend.

It's also been a busy summer on the transfer front for United, with three new signings being confirmed already. Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have all joined - as well as Diego Leon after a deal was struck in January - and there is the possibility that more will happen before the deadline.

United have also sanctioned some departures this summer, with Marcus Rashford leaving to join Barcelona on loan. More players could leave Old Trafford before the September 1 deadline, with the potential for some deals to be completed before the clash against Arsenal arrives on Sunday.

In terms of new signings, the one player who is being linked with a move to United the most is Carlos Baleba. The Brighton midfielder has emerged as a target for United this summer, but it remains to be seen if a deal will be agreed with the Seagulls.

There have been reports that Brighton would demand around £100million, or more, to allow Baleba to leave the club this summer. While unlikely, there is still the possibility that a deal could be done over the next week if United wish to do so.

When it comes to outgoings, a host of players could still leave United over the next week. Rasmus Hojlund has been heavily linked with an exit following Sesko's arrival, with the Manchester Evening News reporting he is open to joining AC Milan.

Alejandro Garnacho could also leave United this week amid reported interest from Chelsea. There could also be resolutions to Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia's futures after the trio informed United of their desire to leave the club earlier in the summer.
