Tua Tagovailoa, quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, recently spilled some tea on his current relationship with wide receiver Tyreek Hill, which seemed strained recently. A few weeks back, Tagovailoa called Hill out for making comments about “wanting out” of the team earlier this year when the Dolphins were officially out of the playoffs.

Tagovailoa’s comments on Tyreek Hill were mostly praised, with many experiencing shock at such strong words coming out of a usually silent quarterback. Tagovailoa basically stood up for his team, and remarked that Hill should not have made such comments since it could hurt the team’s mentality of winning. Now, it looks like both the players have put the incident behind them, as per Tagovailoa’s recent interview with Sirius XM.
“Yeah, I think we’re in a good spot. Yeah, I think we’re in a really good spot. He knows what he said. He wishes he could’ve taken it back. You gotta see where he’s coming as well. The frustration, where he’s come from, obviously, in my position, injuries, so you gotta take everything into account, right? Can’t just wash that away, gotta talk about that, but outside of that, we had a good amount of conversations, and having those conversations, I really like where we’re at.” Tua Tagovailoa spoke about his relationship with Tyreek Hill on SiriusXM.

Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa and the rest of the Miami Dolphins are hoping that their season preseason game goes better after the first one against the Chicago Bears ended in a tie. Tagovailoa himself threw for 27 yards, completing five passes out of six attempts with no touchdowns scored.

On another note, Tua Tagovailoa and the rest of the Miami Dolphins will soon be gearing up for their second preseason game against the Detroit Lions in the upcoming weekend. While the Dolphins are coming off a tied-game against the Chicago Bears, the Detroit Lions are coming off two preseason games in which they lost one to the Chargers and won one against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Bears finished their game on a 24-24 tied score, with both teams putting up equally impressive performances. Miami’s QB Zach Wilson, who joined the team this offseason, managed five pass completions for 96 yards with no scores, while rookie running back Ollie Gordon II managed eight carries with a solo touchdown.
