Joakim Noah Gushes About Spurs Star

Joakim Noah spent years in the NBA, studying his competition and what makes a great basketball player.

He still loves the league, and examines who is the best of the best.

According to Noah, Victor Wembanyama will be the face of the NBA in just a few years.

“He’s definitely the next face of the league… give him 2-3 years this guys going to be running the league,” Noah said, per “Run It Back,” via Legion Hoops.

Wembanyama has been sensational during his first two seasons in the league.

He got started with an average of 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and a league-high 3.6 blocks during his rookie campaign.

A year later, he was at it again with 24.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and a league-high 3.8 blocks.

The bad news for Wembanyama and his San Antonio Spurs was that he suffered a serious health condition and was only able to play in 46 games.

But he has been cleared to return and should be back at 100 percent in 2025-26.

A lot of people believe that the new season will be his best chance yet, a time to show what he is truly capable of.

Wembanyama is going to hit another level, his fans say, and they think that a full season with better health is going to blow people away.

Plus, the Spurs have been working hard to get better and build a strong core around Wembanyama.

That means things might be looking great for San Antonio for a number of reasons.

Wembanyama has already done so much, but everyone, including Noah, agrees that he is just getting started.

He’s a young man and has many years ahead of him.

He’s been electric in his first two, but the path ahead is what really excites people.
