“We’ll Meet Y’all in NFC Championship”: Dak Prescott Taunts Rams Owner Amid Cowboys’ 29-Year…

Dak Prescott, starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, was recently captured speaking candidly to Stan Kroenke, owner of the Los Angeles Rams, after the preseason opening game over the weekend. The Cowboys and the Rams butted heads to open their respective preseasons and the matchup ended up with the latter winning 31-21.

While Prescott did not play in the preseason game, the quarterback was present after the game on the field to chat with Kroenke, along with his team owner, Jerry Jones. One particular remark by Prescott has gone viral, where the quarterback assures Kroenke that he will definitely be meeting them in the NFC Championship, something the Cowboys have not done since 1996.

Dak Prescott was benched for the preseason opener, and in his stead, Joe Milton III, who signed with the team during the offseason, played. Milton managed 11 pass completions out of 29 attempts, scoring once.

Quarterback Will Grier added another touchdown for the team on the ground with a couple of carries. Their efforts were definitely not enough to win against the Los Angeles Rams, who ended up dismantling them with a final 31-21 score. The Cowboys will soon play their second preseason game in the upcoming weekend against the Baltimore Ravens.

Dak Prescott Holds On To Hope For Micah Parsons Playing For Cowboys

On another note, Dak Prescott’s Dallas Cowboys are still struggling with the conundrum that is Micah Parsons. The talented linebacker put in a trade request a few days back, shocking everyone in the NFL world, including the Cowboys’ management itself. This came as a result of the management sidelining Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta, during contract extension discussions. However, Prescott still believes that Parsons will play for the Cowboys.

“Eleven is a Cowboy”Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said about Micah Parsons recently.

While the Dallas Cowboys may definitely miss Micah Parsons if the player is traded out, there are those who feel that the linebacker is better off elsewhere. Parsons is quite an expensive player, and the extension deal he is asking for does not come cheap. The Cowboys also don’t seem correctly poised to win the Super Bowl this time out, unless there’s a strong stroke of luck. Perhaps Parsons being sent off may be in the best interests of both parties.
