Most reports have stated that Giddey was hoping for a deal that was clsoe to $30 million a year, but will he accept this?
It may not be exactly what he wants, but is it good enough?
Last season, Giddey produced 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists for his Bulls, shooting 46.5 percent from the field.
That was his first year with the Bulls, and the fans liked what they saw from him.
In fact, many envisioned him as the future face of the franchise.
But while Giddey does want to help the Bulls, he has a certain financial goal that he wishes to achieve and is willing to look at other options if Chicago doesn’t give it to him.
The Golden State Warriors are reportedly intrigued by Giddey and have reached out to his management about possibly acquiring him.
A deal with them could potentially move forward if the Bulls don’t budge on this offer.
Additionally, there have been whispers of the Sacramento Kings looking at Giddey.
Chicago apparently made this offer to Giddey at the start of the offseason and haven’t change their stance since.
So, now it’s up to Giddey to decide what to do.
