Who will start on Saturday?
Last week Bucs coach Todd Bowles stated Bucs starters would get the night off in their first worthless preseason game against the mighty Titans.
Some starters did in fact play and start, guys like SirVocea Dennis and Rachaad White. Yeah, White is sort of a starter.
So today after practice at One Buc Palace, the last practice before the team flies to Pittsburgh for a practice at Carnegie Mellon University Wednesday and a joint practice with the Steelers on Thursday before the Bucs play their second worthless preseason game on Saturday against the Steelers, Bowles offered his plans for starters this weekend.
Bowles was asked if the starters are all full-go for Saturday.
> “Some of the guys will play,” Bowles said. “Some of them won’t.”
So, who will play against the Steelers and who won’t? And how much will the starters play at Pittsburgh? Or will the starters play more in the final worthless preseason game against Buffalo?
> “Depends on practice Thursday,” Bowles said, referring to Thursday’s joint practice with the Steelers. “Then it depends how much we can get done, and how much we can get done Saturday.”
