Everton are set to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City on a season-long loan.
David Moyes has been chasing the former Aston Villa man as he looks to add top quality to his squad ahead of the new Premier League season.
It appears that he has finally got his man in Grealish, as the 29-year-old is set to undergo a medical at Finch Farm after a deal was reached with the Citizens.
The Friedkin Group needed a marquee signing to kick off the new era at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and now they have got one.

Grealish blueprint shared by former Everton star Gascoigne
There have been concerns over what an Everton move for Grealish would do for Iliman Ndiaye, as both can play as a number 10 or on the left wing.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
However, former Blues star Paul Gascoigne, who made 34 appearances for the club between 2000 and 2002, has already handed them the blueprint on how to utilise the England star.
Speaking to Goal (18 June), he said: “He’s got great character and he’s like me.
“I think he likes to mess around. But when he starts, when he plays, he’s quality. Whether he is absolutely in love with Man City… If not, then if I were him, I’d love to move, because it doesn’t seem like he’s getting on with the manager.
“Just let him do what he wants.”
Moyes should heed Gascoigne advice on Grealish
Just like Grealish, Gascoigne was a maverick, known for his flair and dribbling ability, which puts people in seats.
The Toffees have needed a player like that for a long time, and it is especially important given the move to the new stadium.
Moyes must heed the advice from Gazza, as he is affectionately known, and allow Grealish to express himself and be the focal point of the team.
When he is operating as a maverick attacking midfielder, that is when he thrives, and that is what earned him the £100million move to City in the first place.
If the Scotsman hands over the creative burden to the Three Lions star and lets him dictate play in the attacking areas, it could be highly beneficial for the Toffees in terms of their league position.
At his best, he is a level above what the Blues currently possess, both in terms of his technical ability and his decision-making, and Ian Darke believes he would be a statement signing for Everton.
Hopefully, he can get back to that level on Merseyside and return to the absolutely sublime footballer that the country fell in love with before he joined City.
