Manchester City are reportedly on the brink of cashing in on yet another playmaker, again to another Premier League club.
In less than 24 hours, reports have indicated that each of Savinho and Jack Grealish are close to joining Tottenham Hotspur and Everton respectively.
Savinho, in particular, would be regarded as a shock sale, even if Spurs are willing to pay in excess of £50m to sign the Brazil international.
Since that speculation began, there has been talk of City attempting to sign RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons as a replacement, someone who would not benefit the club's homegrown quota issues.
The sale of James McAtee would also prove to be detrimental on that front, yet it appears that the England Under-21 star is now nearing an exit from the Etihad Stadium.

Which Premier League club are signing McAtee?
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, McAtee is closing in on a transfer to Nottingham Forest.
Romano claims that there is a confidence that a deal in the region of £20m will be finalised over the coming days.
Reaching an agreement is said to be in its final stages, Forest having greater financial freedom to make additions due to being confirmed as a Europa League participant on Monday after Crystal Palace lost their appeal with the Court of Arbitration of Sport.
If a deal goes through, there is the prospect of City generating in the region of £70m, plus getting a large portion of Grealish's wages off their outgoings, in a short space of time.
As well as Simons, Man City allegedly remain interested in a Real Madrid star man ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.

Where would McAtee fit in at Forest?
Despite his playmaking tendencies, McAtee has not contributed a single assist in the City senior side, scoring seven times in 34 appearances.
Nevertheless, Nuno Espirito Santo would be delighted to add such a versatile option to his squad, the 22-year-old able to play in any attack-minded position.
Most likely, McAtee would be viewed as someone who will provide direct competition for Morgan Gibbs-White in the number 10 role.
His output in Premier League games would need to improve, though. Including his loan stint at Sheffield United, he has just six goals and three assists from 48 matches to his name.
