The Lions have already played two preseason games on the road, including the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio against the Los Angeles Chargers and a road contest with the Atlanta Falcons last Friday.
Detroit ultimately won the game, 17-10, but it was called with under seven minutes to play after Lions cornerback Morice Norris suffered a scary injury when his head snapped back on a tackle. Norris required immediate medical attention and was taken off the field via ambulance and transported to a local hospital. No longer thinking about football, Lions and Falcons players joined in a prayer circle and made the decision to end the game.

The team announced that Norris was stable and had movement in all extremities. He has since been released from the hospital and returned to the Lions’ facility, according to a report from the Associated Press.
The Lions now return to Detroit for a preseason matchup with the Dolphins on Saturday and one with the Houston Texans next week before opening the regular season at Green Bay on Sept. 7.
Fans can shop for tickets for Saturday’s game now from Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, StubHub and Ticketmaster.
