Leeds United boss Daniel Farke dropped a huge hint that a deal could be done this week for a new striker. This comes off the back of the friendly against AC Milan on Saturday.
The Whites were held to a draw, but were impressive in some spells during the game. Gabriel Gudmundsson had a solid game at left back, with Anton Stach being the star of the show. After the game, Farke spoke on adding new faces to the attack:

“In comparison to our Championship squad, we have not improved the offence,” Farke said. “To have a squad capable to survive in the top flight, we need to strengthen. In offence, we need some top class signings, not just numbers.”
“We’ll give our best in the next days before Everton,” he added.

Ben Jacobs has dropped a major update as Leeds continue their search for a new striker. The journalist has reported that the Whites are very much all in on Rodrigo Muniz as their number one target this summer. There has been no agreement with Fulham yet, but Leeds are expected to submit an offer soon.
Leeds had a bid rejected for the Brazilian early in the window, and have not gone back since.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is not a priority
Rodrigo Muniz is still Leeds’ top striker target. No agreement with Fulham yet, but Leeds haven’t given up hope.

In the same report from Jacobs, it was revealed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on the radar for the club. Unfortunately, he is not the priority target. He will be looked at, if Leeds fail to get Rodrigo Muniz this summer.
The former Everton man has been a free agent for weeks, and has previously been in contact with the Whites this summer.
Muniz should 100% be first priority
Leeds need someone who is ready to come into the team to score goals. That is what Rodrigo Muniz will provide. His track record is not better than Calvert-Lewin but the fact that he has been great for the past two seasons is a great sign.
Muniz’s style of play also looks like it will fit Leeds’ attack. He is a physical striker and very good in the air. With outlets alongside him, Leeds could have a solid frontline in the Premier League.
