Manchester United are 'close to a full agreement' for Rasmus Hojlund to join AC Milan on loan, journalist Daniele Longo has claimed.
The Serie A club have reportedly intensified contacts with United in recent days and have already agreed on a €6m (£5.2m) loan deal with an option to buy.
Talks are still believed to be ongoing over the option to make Hojlund’s move permanent, with the Red Devils seeking €40m (£35m), while Milan are valuing the deal at €30m (£26m).
Hojlund has no future at Old Trafford following Benjamin Sesko’s arrival from RB Leipzig last week but has yet to open the door to a potential loan departure, as he is willing to fight for his place in Ruben Amorim’s squad this season.

According to Longo, Hojlund is set to hold talks with Man United chiefs on Tuesday over his potential departure to AC Milan on loan, with agreement between the two clubs nearing.
The Denmark international is among several first-team outcasts United are hopeful of selling before the transfer deadline on 1 September, along with Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.
So far, only Garnacho seems to have attracted concrete interest out of the trio, with Chelsea now in talks to sign the Argentinian winger, who has been frozen out of United’s first team by Amorim this summer.
Hojlund, meanwhile, stayed on the bench during United’s final pre-season friendly against Fiorentina on Saturday, where Sesko was introduced to Old Trafford right before kick-off.
The Slovenian starlet joined United on a five-year deal from Leipzig last week and became their fourth summer arrival, following the likes of Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon and Bryan Mbeumo.
Hojlund, who joined United from Atalanta for £64m in 2023, struggled to impress Amorim last term, as he netted just four times in 32 Premier League appearances.
The ‘sensational’ Danish striker proved more effective in the Europa League, where he managed nine goal contributions in 15 games.
