The English and European press have already been all over Savinho’s possible move to Spurs, but major Brazilian outlets are bringing fresh updates after contacting the player’s camp.
As Globo Esporte and journalist Cahê Mota put it, the winger has already said yes. Savinho has officially given Tottenham the thumbs-up, clearing the way for a potential switch from Manchester City to north London.
Now it’s just a matter of the clubs shaking hands on a package worth around €70m including bonuses. The word from Brazil is that this one shouldn’t drag on.
Talks kicked off last week, and Savinho’s mind is made up: Spurs mean more minutes, more responsibility and a better shot at catching Carlo Ancelotti’s eye before the 2026 World Cup.
He’s fresh from a debut season at City that brought 48 appearances – 36 of them starts – plus three goals and 11 assists. All that’s missing is Pep Guardiola’s blessing, which will decide whether the Brazilian packs for north London or sticks around at the Etihad.
