Ruben Amorim believes that one Premier League talent could ‘significantly contribute’ to his Manchester United tactical system amid a price tag being revealed, according to reports.
The 40-year-old Manchester United manager has received a major boost in the summer transfer window after being backed with new signings from Ineos.
United landed Matheus Cunha from Wolves in June and the Red Devils also added Paraguayan wonderkid Diego Leon to their ranks at Old Trafford in July.
Ruben Amorim watched United’s transfer saga over Bryan Mbeumo this summer before the Red Devils landed him ahead of the pre-season tour in the United States.
The former Sporting CP manager has also finally seen the arrival of a new striker to Old Trafford this summer, with United signing Benjamin Sesko ahead of Newcastle.
The Premier League club’s new signings of Benjamin Sesko, Diego Leon, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo were unveiled to United fans at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Ruben Amorim’s Man Utd transfer stance on Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba amid Premier League interest
Carlos Baleba has been linked with Manchester United and the Red Devils are still on the hunt for a new midfielder and a shot-stopper in the summer transfer market.
The 21-year-old Cameroonian midfielder has been the ‘heir-apparent’ to Moises Caicedo at Brighton and has deeply impressed at the Amex since his 2023 arrival.
CaughtOffside reports that United have ‘closely monitored’ the situation around Carlos Baleba and he is now attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.
The publication reports that the Cameroon international is now seen as a ‘priority target’ for United, which was made at ‘the request of’ manager Ruben Amorim.
It is believed that the former Sporting CP boss admires the ‘physical strength’ and the ‘ball-winning abilities’ of Baleba as key ‘qualities’ for his two-man midfield pivot.

Brighton’s transfer price tag for Carlos Baleba and Man Utd are one of seven Premier League clubs interested
Despite United’s growing interest in Carlos Baleba, it is believed that Brighton will push back on any club trying to sign the Premier League talent this summer.
The Cameroon star is under contract with Brighton until 2028 and the Seagulls want to keep United-linked Baleba at the Amex for the 2025-26 Premier League season.
CaughtOffside added that Brighton have ‘set an asking price’ of around €60m to €70m for the former Lille midfielder, despite their current transfer position.
The news outlet claimed that United would face a challenge for Baleba from the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle and Tottenham.
