Arsenal forward follows Agyemang's path as she joins Albion on loan

Rosa Kafaji is on board for the season as the Seagulls prepare for their WSL campaign.

The 22-year-old Sweden international joined the Gunners from Hacken last summer.

She now follows the same path as Michelle Agyemang, who spent last season loan to the Seagulls from Arsenal.

Kafaji will look to kick on from a debut WSL season which saw her feature in 19 games and score against West Ham.

As the deal was announced, Albion head coach Dario Vidosic said: “We are excited to welcome Rosa to the squad for the season ahead.

“She’s a versatile attacker who shows plenty of promise in the front line.

“She’s a fantastic addition to the team for our new campaign and we’re excited to see her integrate within our squad and style of play."

Kafaji made her senior Sweden debut almost two years ago having come through the age groups.

She was the second new singing to be confirmed on Monday after that of French defender Maelys Mpome from Chelsea.
