Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are front-runners to sign Crystal Palace’s attacking mainstay Eberechi Eze, amidst interest from rivals Tottenham.
Arsenal and Tottenham are both keen on acquiring the services of Eberechi Eze. The North London clubs are ready to battle it out for the signature of the Crystal Palace star, and according to a report from Football Insider, the Gunners are favourites to win the race.
Eze hasn’t looked back since joining the Eagles from QPR back in 2020. Not only has he established himself as one of their mainstays, but he is also widely regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League.
He was one of their standout performers last season with 14 goals and 11 assists in 43 outings. His impressive performances have put him on the radar of clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham. While he still has two years left on his deal at Selhurst Park, he could be on the move before the end of the transfer window.
Amidst rising interest in his services, Palace are ready to listen to offers for his signature in the latter stages of the window. However, they will only sanction his departure if their financial demands are met.
North London giants to battle it out for Eze

With James Maddison out injured, Thomas Frank certainly needs another number ten in his ranks. They have a long-standing interest in the Palace mainstays, and his ability to feature on the flanks as well as in a central role makes him an ideal fit for their team.
However, they are behind Arsenal in the race for his signature at this point. Mikel Arteta’s team have done some serious business in the transfer window as they look to end their wait for the league title. They are also looking to bring in Eze to further strengthen their case for major silverware.
They are favourites to sign him and could table an offer in the near future. But before they can make their interest concrete with an offer, the Gunners need to offload a few of their stars. They are working hard to get rid of players who are surplus to requirements, to make room for the signing of Eze.
