Manchester United welcome old rivals Arsenal to Old Trafford for their first match of the new Premier League season on Sunday.
The Red Devils endured a torrid campaign last term and ended up finishing 15th in the top flight standings, meaning Ruben Amorim’s side won’t compete in Europe this time around.
United have added Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko to Amorim’s squad this summer, bolstering the Portuguese’s attacking options.
Now, though, it has emerged that the Manchester giants are concerned about the future of one of their current attackers.
According to GiveMeSport, United are wary of not being able to offload winger Alejandro Garnacho before the end of the current transfer window.
The Argentine is expected to depart Old Trafford this month after falling out of favour under Amorim, with rivals Chelsea touted as his most likely destination.

It is claimed, however, that United are now running out of other options in the case of the proposed move to Stamford Bridge falling through.
Initially the Argentine had attracted interest from clubs in several countries across Europe, however the player himself insisted that he only wanted a move to another Premier League side.
That left Chelsea as the only possible option, which hindered United’s negotiating power during talks with the Blues.
The report claims, however, that United fear being left in a predicament if the proposed move to Chelsea fails, with the Red Devils possibly being left to attempt to resurrect interest from elsewhere in the closing stages of the window.
Garnacho, 21, joined United’s youth system from Spanish side Atlético Madrid in 2020 and has since progressed into the first team at Old Trafford.
He has now played 144 times for the club across all competitions, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists.
