Pereira Vitor’s Wolves are keen on acquiring the services of Chelsea out-of-favour duo Axel Disasi and David Fofana.
They are trying their best to give Pereira Vitor a squad that helps him play the brand of football he wants. According to a report from CaughtOffside, Wolves are plotting a double raid on Chelsea to strengthen their attack as well as their defence. They are interested in acquiring the services of Axel Disasi and David Fofana, who are no longer an important part of Enzo Maresca’s plans.
Disasi joined the Blues in the summer of 2023. While he was an important part of their squad in the initial years, he was hardly used by Maresca last season before being loaned out to Aston Villa for the second half of the season.
It wasn’t the best of seasons for the 27-year-old, as he only made 13 league appearances in total. While he still has four years left on his deal, Chelsea are ready to sanction his departure as he is not a part of Maresca’s plans.
Meanwhile, Fofana joined the Blues at the start of 2023. The London club decided to invest in him because of his massive potential, but the move hasn’t worked out as he has spent the majority of his time out on loan and has only made four first-team appearances.
Wolves make moves to sign the Chelsea duo
